Pastor Ron Branham is a gifted singer, minister, and communicator of the Gospel. From an early age, he traveled throughout the United States in ministry with his parents, sharing the message of Christ through music and evangelism. In recent years, Ron has continued that legacy alongside his wife and children, ministering through song and the teaching of God’s Word.
After a lifetime devoted to evangelism and ministry, Ron was appointed Senior Pastor of Higher Praise in 2021. As an anointed and encouraging speaker, he has a unique ability to bring Scripture to life in a way that is both practical and inspiring. His passion is to see lives transformed and souls saved through the power of the Holy Spirit. For Ron, ministry is far more than music—it is a calling to share the hope and truth of Jesus Christ.
A lifelong learner, Ron attended Lee University, where he earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in History and Education. He later completed both a Master’s Degree and an Education Specialist Degree. Ron retired after a distinguished career with the Cherokee County School District and also served as an adjunct instructor at Reinhardt University.
Ron is an Ordained Bishop in the Church of God. He and his wife, Debbie, reside in Jasper and are blessed with two children and two grandchildren.
